Ya’ll… Josh & Meg think they’re camera shy. But, I beg to differ.
We hiked 30 minutes, upstream in a river in waist deep water; climbing up rocks, and literally swinging from vines to reach this waterfall on the north side of the island. When we got there, we were shocked at how beautiful, and secluded it was. Kidding… it was the furthest thing from secluded. Everybody and their mama was there, so we had to work around ’em. There was a huge group right beside me while we took these. Given the circumstances, I think we did a pretty good job making it look like we were alone!) ;)
After we wrapped up at the falls, we grabbed insanely good burgers on the way back home; (I literally forgot how good burgers were, and now I’m craving them. Right behind the restaurant was a strip of secluded beach. Just in case you were wondering, we found the following during our “Extreme Shell Hunting Episode”: a stray dog, coral, a baby doll’s leg (yes, just the leg…) and some crabs.
It was really just the best day, and I’m looking forward to so many more here on island. Any more adventurous couples out there…? ;)
